Chris Haggerty specializes in high-performance team development. A former Navy SEAL, he draws on his years of specialized training to work with corporate and team leaders, offering a hands-on, evolution-oriented experience that helps break through personal, professional, and performance barriers.

Chris, a 1990 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, began his career in one of the nation’s most elite and specialized fighting forces, the U.S. Navy SEALs. Graduating first in his class, “Honor Man,” he was assigned to SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team ONE and subsequently, SEAL Team ONE. While serving as a platoon commander and special warfare operative, he trained and deployed in the Pacific and South East Asia with a focus on underwater operations and jungle warfare.

In 1997, while stationed at the Naval Sea Systems Command in Washington, D.C., Chris oversaw the research, development, testing, and procurement of sophisticated weapons and operational equipment for Naval Special Warfare. In 1999, he assumed the role of Assistant Community Manager for the Naval Special Warfare Officer Corps, supporting the placement of over 200 special warfare officers, Chris was responsible for the interviewing, screening, and recommended selection of all R.O.T.C. and O.C.S. SEAL candidates.

After serving in the U.S. Navy for over a decade, Chris was selected for the Pilots’ Association for the Bay and River Delaware apprenticeship. Over four years, he completed over 5,000 hours of hands-on ship-handling training. After passing the stringent U. S. Coast Guard and Delaware State Licensing process, in 2005, he became a Federal and State Licensed River Pilot. Currently, Chris is a partner in the Pilots’ Association for the Bay and River Delaware where he serves as a First Class River Pilot responsible for the safe navigation of large national and international commercial vessels throughout the Delaware Bay and River, and Chesapeake and Delaware Canal.
